Today, Sunday 05 June 2016, the world environment day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi passed a message to all Indians to take a pledge to conserve natural resources to reduce increasing temperatures and global warming effect. The primary reason of getting temperatures increased year on year is due to destruction of forests in the name of development. Modi stressed on to keep the Earth clean and green.

We should be prepared with the solutions in the event of drought scenarios. All state Governments already started working towards handling drought situations. Modi said “Monsoon will be coming one week late. Everybody is worried about this and I have discussed about drought situation with all state Government Chief Ministers on the occasion of World Environment Day. We should save trees and forests. We should not waste the water. It is the responsibility of every Indian. We have to take a pledge to save the environment thus by keeping the Earth clean and green.”

PM Narendra Modi discussed this topic on “Man Ki Baat” Program. It is a famous program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It connects the views of Narendra Modi to every Indian through Radio channel. Modi always shares his views on Man Ki Baat program.
