17 dead in a fire accident in armory ammunition depot at Pulgaon,Maharashtra

modi expressed his pain on fire accident ,which is occured at Pulgaon

Pulgaon:

A fire accident at Pulgaon military ammunition  depot in Maharashtra has killed 2 army officers. a jawan and 14 fire fighters. 17 people were injured and admitted in hospital, their current health condition is stable now, the army officers said. Defense minister Manohar Pariakar visited the depot today. He said the reason for the accident yet to be known and need to be inquired by Army officers. Manohar Parikar also visited the injured in hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep pain for the incident and he prayed for injured. Narendra Modi has tweeted in twitter “Pained by loss of lives caused by fire at central ammunition depot in Pulgaon, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with bereaved families”.

This armory depot is the biggest ammunition depot in India and second biggest in Asia.
